A tour has been planned that will stop at several of the Camrose area’s greenhouses, giving those who participate a chance to be inspired while they browse through the annuals, perennials and other plants that will be available this season.
Thanks to the cooperative efforts of Tourism Camrose and The Mortgage Group, Camrose green thumbs will be able to get a jump start on their gardens for this year. They will be riding in style and comfort, and as they go, they can socialize, share planting tips and build connections with others who share their love of horticulture.
Tickets for this bus tour of area greenhouses are $40 each, and wine and cheese will be served to the group. Several of the participants will be going home with a door prize, and the event is set to run for approximately four hours.
The planners of this occasion noted that they expect that the tickets will sell out quickly, and once all the ticket holders have arrived, the bus is scheduled to depart at 5:00 pm. Stationery printers can supply “gardener’s wish lists” to give to each person who registers for an event like this so that they can quickly jot down the name of any plants that catch their eye and where they can be purchased.
