A Camrose farm wants to offer a salute to the local small business community, and it has plans for a fundraising day in the works.
Area entrepreneurs are invited to head to Bawlf’s Lil Ryeley Farms for its Small Business Pick Day, and those who do will be treated to a selection of fresh vegetables and other produce. Everyone who comes out will be able to get their hands dirty harvesting their own crops, and as an added bonus, the funds raised throughout the day will be used to support scholarships for future farmers.
Anyone who is interested in taking advantage of this offer is asked to RSVP in advance, and they are encouraged to wear clothing or other gear that sports their company’s Logo Design. They will even be able to network with the other guests if they wish, and they will be able to purchase a 50-pound crate of vegetables for $30 each.
The crates will open to the registrants at 11:00 am, and they are asked to bring along Business Cards. The farm will welcome guests up until 4:00 pm.
