Camrose music fans ready to Cash in

Fans of the late Johnny Cash are invited to an upcoming event in Camrose that will give them a chance to enjoy a tribute to his life and music.

‘The Man in Black - A Tribute to Johnny Cash’ will be coming to the Jeanne and Peter Loughheed Performing Arts Centre. It will feature the talents of Gene Gebo, who will be presenting an evening of songs and stories about the late performer’s life and works. Gebo has had the opportunity to meet with Cash several times throughout his life, and is a great admirer of his talents both as a singer and songwriter.

The host for event will be CTV’s Graham Neil, who is a well-known comedian and host of the entertainment segment on the CTV News from Edmonton. He is also a stand-up comedian who has worked with may popular actors both on and off the screen.

The show is being presented through the efforts of 840 CFCW radio and GNR Entertainment. Poster printing can be used to help get the word out to the public about performance such as this.

It is scheduled to take place on April 16, with the show to start at 8:00 pm. Tickets for the performance are priced at $35 each and can be purchased online by visiting The Man in Black website.
