For more than 60 years, the Jaywalker’s Jamboree has made June in Camrose a lot more fun. This community celebration is set to return this year, and it will showcase local talent, food and offer other excitement suitable for the entire family.
This annual festival will feature three days of activities, and will run from Friday until Sunday evening. While enjoying all the activities, the crowd will be encouraged to stop by the booths that will be set up by public service organizations and other not for profit groups. There will also be raffles and other prize draws taking place.
The plans for the event range from a hearty pancake breakfast to live entertainment, trail rides, a vendor area and freshly prepared food. Everything from hot buttered corn on the cob to Mexican, Norwegian, Ukrainian and Asian fare will be on offer, and the whole community is welcome to join their neighbours in the spirit of the occasion.
