Camrose families, and those whose children attend any of the schools from throughout the Battle River School Division, are invited to have their say in the school calendar that will be adopted by the educational institutions throughout the area.
The division has put together four different options for the public to choose from. Each of them will have a balance of professional development days and instructional time, as well as dates for holidays, the dates set by Alberta Education for exams, and will meet the requirement for the number of school days set by the province.
Each of the proposed Calendars will meet all of the set requirements, but will differ in the days selected for school to start and end, as well as for spring and Christmas vacation break dates. Once the final choice has been made, a calendar printing company will be able to produce them for distribution to those who live in the area, as well as any other stakeholders who may have an interest in obtaining one.
Anyone who would like to have a chance to help decide on which schedule will be adopted is invited to stop by the Battle River School division website at www.brsd.ab.ca. The survey will close to the public on December 8th, and the final results will be announced to the families in the division by no later than December 15th.Get a Free Quote for Calendars
