The Camrose Chamber of Commerce recently held its 31st annual small business week celebrations, and as it has in other years, it once again selected the winners for its small business of the year award and also the winners in a variety of other categories.
In order to help mark the occasion, it interviewed the owners of several different enterprises throughout the city. It asked them a series of questions designed to help the other members of the chamber to get to them each a bit better and also to find out more about their differing approaches to running their company.
After the discussions, each of the owners had their picture taken in the area of their particular business that they felt gave the best exemplified it and made it different than the rest. These can be included in the Brochures the chamber uses to promote itself and its members to both the local community and those that are further afield.
The awards themselves were presented during the chamber’s “Puttin’ on the Ritz” gala event, which took place at the Best Western Plus Resort Casino. A variety of categories were open for the members to vote for the entrepreneurs they thought were the best. These ranged from The Business Excellence Award to the Community Spirit Award, the Homebased Business Award, the Small Business of the Year Award and more.Get a Free Quote for Brochures
