The Young Women of Influence evening series holds several events in various cities throughout Canada. Its aim is to help connect women in business and to teach them skills that will help them get ahead and take their businesses to the next level of success. Each event features guest speakers, hors d'oeuvres, and wine.
The next event will be taking place at the Westin Calgary on November 22 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Guest speakers will be Lesley Scorgie, Melissa Gunning, and Nancy Foster, with Leslie Stein acting as the moderator. Discussion will be in panel format and the topic will be ‘Work-Life Balance: Can you really have it all?’.
The talk will be concentrating on giving advice to women on how they can balance their work life with their home life. With door prizes, free child care for those who need it, and everyone in attendance picking up a free gift bag, the attractions are obvious and manifold. Tickets are $45. The evening will be an opportunity for businesswomen in the Calgary area to connect with one another and to find out about one another's business. Some of those attending will possibly be working with local printing companies to ensure they have enough Business Cards to hand out at the event.
