Upcoming conference to offer info to entrepreneurs

The 3rd annual Next Big Thing conference is taking place in Calgary next month.

The conference is aimed at entrepreneurs and small business owners, as well as freelancers. It is set to provide hands-on information they can use to grow their businesses.

The day will consist of a number of educational sessions on topics such as digital marketing, problem solving, finance, branding, and industry trends. There will also be panel discussions. Among those who will be speaking at this year’s conference are Gareth Kukes from Lukes Drug Mart, social media guru Beverly Theresa, Crystal Decnodder of Full Blast Creative, and Alkarim Devani from RNDSQR. They will provide the education, as well as describe how their own experiences have impacted their business decisions.

There will also be an after-party where attendees can meet with the speakers and discuss what they learned with their business peers.

In addition to being an important educational opportunity, it is also a chance for entrepreneurs, especially those who may work from home, to network with their peers. With that in mind, it is likely that many of those planning to attend will be placing a business card printing order in advance.

The Next Big Thing conference will be held at the Central Public Library on March 16 from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Fees are $149 per person. For more information, visit the official event website.
