Fundraiser planned for Calgary to put fruit and veggies first

It’s been recommended by many dieticians and other experts that people try and fill at least half their plates with fruit and veggies when they eat. A Calgary fundraiser will show how tasty this can be, whilst raising essential funds for a local good cause.

A group of eight area chefs will be putting their skills together in a collaborative effort that will result in a special culinary experience for Calgary diners. It will include four courses as well as dessert, and will open with a cocktail reception that will boast a variety of nibbles and other appetizers.

Guests will be invited to visit the various small bite stations, before taking their seats for the plated meal. This will be followed by a dessert, and to thank attendees for their support, they will be going home with a swag bag that contains an assortment of Promotional Products.

The monies that this annual event raises will stay in the local community. They will be shared between the Calgary Community Kitchen and the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, and Mealshare will also benefit. Tickets start at $80 each, and all support will be appreciated.

Calgary is set to host this fundraiser on March 20th, and it will be held in Heritage Park. Guests are welcome to start arriving at 6pm.
