Corporate painting workshops build teams

Maya Gohill Fine Arts, based at Art Central in downtown Calgary, is offering corporate painting workshops. These workshops are seen as a way of building better working relationships between co-workers and of bringing out hidden creativity in all employees. Printing companies need employees who are creative and who think "out of the box"; a painting workshop would be the perfect exercise to strengthen such skills.

Art Central is a three floor complex that consists of 50 artist’s studios, stores, a restaurant, art galleries and cafes. It is often host to many cutting edge exhibitions and events. In 2007 it was named Best Art Gallery by readers of a local arts magazine, FFWD.

The corporate painting workshops from Maya Gohill Fine Arts are available for 5 to over 50 people. They can be customized to the company and catering options are also available. Attendees work on one piece of art together and at the end of the day take that work of art with them. Hanging the work of art in the office would remind everyone of the workshop and show them how cooperation in business is good for everyone.

While networking is one way to build a business, team building exercises and workshops are a way of ensuring that everyone in that business is working together towards the same goal. No matter how much networking and marketing you do, if your employees do not operate like a team that business will not survive over the long term.

Companies often use art work to enhance the work environment and make it a more pleasant place to work. What employee would not like their pictures to be highlighted by the company? They can be printed off as needed and displayed throughout the company.
