A workshop that will offer an introduction into both moving and stationary rope systems has been set for Calgary, and it will give participants a chance to earn some CEUs (continuing education units).
The day-long seminar will equip arborists with the knowledge and skills they need to work safely using both Stationery and moving rope systems. They will also learn how to prevent falls, and this will all follow an update into the most current legislation and standard industry practices.
The learning will continue throughout the day, and the group will discover how to choose which rope system is best for a particular situation and type of work. Safety will be emphasized, and learners will be offered instruction in tie off methods, redirects, how reactive forces can affect anchor points and other topics that can be helpful in providing tree care.
The registration fee for the Calgary Arborist Seminar 2019 is $20, and this includes lunch. Learning materials can help students to make the most from this sort of workshop, and Print shops will be able to supply them.
