Calgary venue to host predator and prey day

Calgary’s Bow Habitat Station gives the public an opportunity to learn more about the natural world, and it has an activity in the works for this February.

Many predators and prey depend upon one another for survival, and this relationship will be explored as part of the venue’s “What’s Up with Predators and Prey” session. Its scheduled run time is five hours, and it will welcome the whole family.

Those who attend the function will be able to explore an assortment of tables and displays that explore how predators and prey are interconnected, and these will be manned by representatives of the host’s partner organizations. Volunteers will be on hand at each of these Investigation Stations, and all ages can participate. Entry to the exhibit is included with admission to the site, and the attendees will be able to visit the rest of the facility as well.

Hosting educational events like this is one way an organization can develop a love of nature in the local area. Offering information kits can make it easier for attendees to keep on learning after the event, and these may be packed into reusable cloth Totes printed with the organization’s Logo Design.

Bow Habitat Station will be offering the What’s Up with Predators and Prey session on February 11th. It will start at 1:00 pm, and more details are available on its Facebook page.
