As the warm days of summer transition into the cooler fall and winter weather, Calgary residents are invited to come together and enjoy dinner and a movie.
The Heritage Park is the venue for the community’s “Dinner and a Movie” nights, which kicked off mid-October. Each evening begins with a three course meal that will be served at the Selkirk Restaurant, and once diners have finished, they will head over to Gasoline Alley, where they will be able to take in a classic movie shown on the big screen.
The organizers of this initiative have explained that each dinner has a movie theme, and popcorn and a cash bar is on offer during the show. The lineup includes flicks such as “Hair”, “West Side Story” and “Home Alone”, and to celebrate the holidays, the attendees of the final evening will be treated to a screening of “It’s a Wonderful Life”.
A poster printing company can help to promote this sort of event in a variety of ways. One such way is by creating vintage-style movie Posters, which can be posted in various locations throughout the city.
The Dinner and a Movie evenings at Heritage Park will be screening classic films every two weeks, and they are scheduled to run until December 23rd. Each event will begin at 5:00pm.
