Calgary to ring in New Year-Caribbean style

This New Year’s Eve, an event has been planned for Calgary that will give people a chance to celebrate in a way that’s a little out of the ordinary.

The city’s Executive Royal Hotel Calgary will be hosting a Jamaican-style party that will bring a little of the Caribbean warmth to a cold Canadian winter. There will be music to dance to, Jamaican food to enjoy, and at midnight, guests can greet 2017 with champagne.

In addition to all of this, there will be an assortment of prizes to be won throughout the night, and there will also be some surprises that the organizers are keeping under wraps until the night of the party. A printer can provide everything from Banners, to decorations and promotional Drinkware that can make an event like this a night to remember.

For those who are also looking to spend the night there after the celebrations, the hotel is offering a special ‘take the elevator home’ room rate of $89 each. Anyone who would like to make use of this offer is asked to mention it when they book their stay.

The festivities will be held on December 31 from 7:00 pm until 2:00 am on January 1. Tickets for the event are $80 each. The party has been organized by the Jamaican Canadian Association of Alberta.
