The Mother Goose programme provides opportunities for babies and parents to bond and learn through music and stories, and those who would like to be trained facilitators have been offered seats in an upcoming event.
The Horizon Family Resources Centre has organized Mother Goose training for Calgary, and it is scheduled to be held at the Horizon Family Resource Centre. It is open to professionals and anyone else who would like to incorporate the initiative into their own programming, and the participants must attend both days.
The registration fee for the workshops is $325 each, and it will be held in person. It will explore how rhymes, stories, and songs can make learning fun, and it will explain how it can be adapted to make it suitable for different age groups. The group will discuss how to encourage parent participation, and also why this is an important part of the activity.
Workshops often offer a lot of information in a small amount of time. Supplying the participants in a session with handouts, manuals, and other materials will allow them to continue learning even after it has drawn to a close. These may be ordered from an area printing services company.
This introduction to the Mother Goose parent-child program will be held on March 13th and 14th. The venue for the session will be #3404 25th Street NE., and both days will run from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.
