Punk rock and bowling may sound like an unusual combination, but Calgary fans of the music genre may find that they are a great match during an upcoming event.
The public event, which will take place at Paradise Lanes, will feature a lineup of live bands, and the whole family can get in on the fun. Admission is $20 for adults and free for kids aged 12 and under, and this includes the shoe rental, as well as unlimited frames of bowling.
The agenda for the evening will include performances by at least seven local punk bands, and with the usual lighting turned down and the black light turned on, it will be a special experience. The hosts of the event have explained that to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the lanes will be kept sanitized, and as the activity is being hosted in part by the Major Minor Music Project, the monies raised will benefit the local community.
Those who participate in this sort of evening may want to purchase a souvenir of the experience, and a printer can prepare T-Shirts, hoodies and other Promotional Products that feature the event’s graphic design. These can be sold as fundraising items, giving the organizer another way to maximize the impact of the occasion.
Punk Rock Bowling YYC will be rolling into Calgary’s Paradise Lanes on March 20th of 2021. Its Facebook listing includes more details.
