A Calgary organization working to create positive change in the city will soon be celebrating the holiday season, and an invitation has been extended to the community to be a part of the celebration.
Momentum is once again hosting a holiday open house, providing an opportunity for members of the public to find out about the benefits the group provides to the local area. The whole family is welcome to explore the activities on offer, all while enjoying meeting their neighbors.
One of the features of this year’s open house will be a vendor market. This shopping area will be filled with booths featuring businesses Momentum has helped to get off the ground. In the family room, the guests can watch the balloon artist at work, visit the photo booth, and make a craft to take home. Snacks and other refreshments will be passed, and the attendees can ask about the various programs and other initiatives administered by Momentum staff and volunteers.
This type function can often attract a large crowd, and publications from a flyer printing company can be posted throughout the community to let the public know where and when it will be on offer.
This year’s Momentum Christmas Open House has been scheduled for the afternoon and evening of December 6. Admission is free.
