After the typical business day has drawn to a close, residents of Calgary will still be able to indulge in a little bit of retail therapy when they attend one of the pop-up markets planned for the city.
The city's Night Market is set to make its return to its spot at Bridge and Riverside, and there are four dates on the schedule. Both kids and pets are welcome, but dogs will need to be leashed and well behaved.
The vendors that have signed on to be part of the experience will all have locally made goods on offer, and a selection of the city’s eateries will be taking part as well. It will provide a casual and relaxed atmosphere for those who come out, and the function will be family friendly. As one of the goals of these evening pop-ups is to support local makers and small businesses, the organizers are accepting applications from area companies that are interested in getting involved.
Summer events are often held outdoors to take advantage of the pleasant weather. A banner printing company can supply decor items that can withstand being out in the wind, rain and sunshine for such an event.
The Calgary Night Markets begin on May 27th, and they will also take place on June 24th, July 29th and August 26th. Each session will run from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
