A Calgary event that will support disabled kids locally and further afield will see those on its guest list dance the night away, and it will be on offer at an area golf club.
Pinebrook Golf and Country Club has been booked for the Groove for Good fundraiser next month, and the charity of choice will be the Embrace International Foundation. It will run for three hours, and the suggested dress is semi formal or business casual.
The gathering will see those on its guest list take to the dance floor to music supplied by The Frontiers, and there will be a selection of gourmet hors d’oeuvres served to the crowd. There will be a brief presentation about the cause and how the funds raised will make an impact, and a cash bar will be set up.
The organizers of the event have announced they are very excited about the items that will be up for bids in the silent auction. There will be Corporate Gifts included, ranging from gift cards for area eateries to golf packages.
The Groove for Good fundraiser will be kicking off at 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 6th. Tickets may be ordered by visiting its Eventbrite listing, and they are priced at $54.58. This amount includes any applicable sales taxes and processing fees.
