Calgary fire department seeking local heroes

Firefighters are local heroes who play an important role in public safety. Residents of Calgary who would like to learn more about the possibility of making this their career are welcome to sit in on an upcoming information session.

The Calgary Fire Department has planned an evening event that will give those who participate information that can help to decide if firefighting is the job for them. As there are only a limited number of spaces available, those who are interested have been asked to sign up as soon as possible.

Along with other information, the participants in the session will learn about the physical and other requirements that must be met if they wish to join the fire department. They will receive details about the Firefighter Pre-Screening Process, and there will be recruitment officers on site to answer questions. Those who register for the activity can start arriving at 6:00 pm, and the function itself will begin at 6:30 pm.

This sort of function can provide a lot of details in a short amount of time. Supplying the participants with Booklets crafted by a brochure printing professional can help them to decide if firefighting is a good fit for them.

The Calgary Multi-Agency Training Centre will be the location for this event. It will run for approximately two hours.
