Supporting local companies is about to get a lot easier for Calgary residents, thanks to an expo-style event that is on the agenda for this March.
The Marda Loop Communities Association recently released the news that it has scheduled the Lokal Small Business Expo, which will be dedicated to the consumer-packaged goods sector. These value-added products will be the centre point of the event, which aims to bring producers and retailers together in an atmosphere that is conducive to collaboration and growth.
While the activity is open to anyone who is interested, retailers are invited to arrive an hour ahead of the proposed start time to avoid crowds. There will be lots of products to sample, and many grocery buyers will be on hand. There will be displays set up by industry insiders, and processors, manufacturers and other vendors will be coming in from across the province. Everyone from small shop owners to market managers are being invited to take part, and it will provide a chance for them to discover new product lines and other items.
An expo-style event gives those who take part an opportunity to learn about a wide assortment of products and services, all under one roof. Businesses planning on attending can order promotional Pens and other swag from area Print shops.
This deep dive into the world of locally made products will be on offer on Monday, March 11 at 3130 16 Street Southwest. Tickets are available to purchase on the event’s online listing.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Pens
