A Calgary golf course is set to be taken over by the ladies when it hosts a combination outing and fundraising event.
Valley Ridge Golf Club will be rolling out the green carpet for the women who register for the Golf for Girls Charity Classic. This will be the event’s 13th year, and the monies raised will be donated to a local charitable cause.
The day will kick off with check in and brunch, and a formal program has been scheduled for the luncheon. After this, a golf clinic will help the attendees up their game, and at 2:00 pm, the gun will be fired for the shotgun start. A light dinner and awards presentation will follow the game, and awards will be presented as well.
Each of the players who register for the day will receive brunch, as well as snacks, access to an online silent auction and a chance to win one of the prizes. The Kinette Club of Calgary will be hosting the Golf for Girls Charity Classic on June 6th. Tickets and other information are both available through its Eventbrite listing, and the registration fee being charged is $175.00 per person. Foursome passes are $650.00 each.
