Calgary class to craft custom gin
In recent years, gin has increased in popularity, and it is used as the base for a variety of drinks. An upcoming Calgary workshop will be focused on this spirit, and it will be a Master-level experience.
The class has been organized by Two Rivers Distillery, and it will be facilitated by its founder and Distiller Mark Freeland. He has many years of experience and has produced gins that have received international awards.
During the three-hour-long activity, the attendees will experience a deep dive into the process of distilling different flavours of gin, and a history of the spirit will be included as well. They will then learn how to prepare their own flavoured recipe using the botanical ingredients provided. There will be taste testing, and everyone can sip on a gin cocktail as the session draws to a close. Freeland will distill the individual recipes at a later date.
Foodies and beverages connoisseurs alike may appreciate the opportunity to learn more about the food and beverages they enjoy. Glass barware and other items that have been custom printed with a venue’s or other logo design can be ordered for an activity can be ordered from a local printing services company.
This night of exploring and preparing custom blended gin will be held on January 31st. It is scheduled for 453 42 Avenue SE.
