There are several things that you can do to foster innovation amongst your employees. Offer the chance for brainstorming sessions amongst employees from all areas of your business; let them know that no idea is too small or stupid. Have your workforce study what the competition provides and listen to their suggestions on how to provide a better product. Hold an open house for your customers and ask how they would improve your products. Maybe the most important way to innovate is to acknowledge the contributions of your employees. This does not necessarily mean a cash bonus; it can be a paid day off or acknowledgement in front of the entire company.
