September event to celebrate Calgarys pets

An event will soon be welcoming pet lovers in Calgary’s Parkdale neighbourhood, and the funds raised will support an assortment of community projects.

The Parkdale Petfest, which was first held back in 2017, is one of the city’s premier events for pet parents. In a release prepared for the public, the organizers explained that it is a volunteer-driven activity, and all are welcome to attend.

Local companies in the companion animal care sector are invited to submit an application to be a part of the fun, and in 2021, at least 1,200 people participated on the day. It will give companies a venue where they can introduce themselves to those who may be in the market for their products or services, and while they do, they will also get the chance to form connections with other small businesses in the industry. Not-for-profit organizations such as rescues and sanctuaries are encouraged to get involved as well.

Community events like this tend to be quite popular, and marketing them to the public may be made easier with assistance from area printers, which can supply everything from flyer printing to Business Cards.

The Calgary Petfest 2022 will show some love to the city’s pets on September 10th. It is set to be held at the Parkdale Community Association, 3512 5th Ave NW in Calgary.
