Popular museum celebrates ten years

The Gasoline Alley Museum complex is celebrating its 10th anniversary next month with a day filled with family-friendly activities.

This popular Calgary museum is located in Heritage Park. It provides educational opportunities and has displays of vehicles of all kinds including farm vehicles and airplanes. The complex also features a cafe, a restaurant, a brewery and shopping options.

The anniversary celebration will feature many activities for people of all ages including outdoor games, fire pits and musical entertainment. There will also be special presentations, birthday cake and beer samples from the Big Rock Interpretive Brewery.

While most activities are free, the cookie decorating station will cost $3.95 for each cookie kit. Participants will be able to decorate car cookies in any way they want.

To go along with the anniversary celebrations, the Railway Cafe will be offering guests two for one hot chocolate or coffee. In addition, there will be dinner specials at the Selkirk Grille.

Organizers of celebrations such as this often contact Calgary Print shops to order marketing materials such as Flyers or Banners to highlight specific areas.

The Gasoline Alley Museum anniversary celebration will be held at Heritage Park on April 6 from 10am-4pm. Admission is free of charge but donations will be accepted. To learn more about this event or about the Gasoline Alley Museum, visit the Heritage Park website.
