Wings of Hope Calgary will be hosting luncheon to help raise funds to support people living with breast cancer.
The event will feature an address by guest speaker Deborah Yedlin, who is a columnist for the Calgary Herald. The proceeds from the function will be used to help meet the daily financial needs of those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and need some help with meeting their daily living expenses, such as childcare, rent and paying for their medications.
Several companies have lent their sponsorship to the event. These include Osler, B.D. and P., Meg Energy, SemCAMS, WIC, Shoppers Drug Mart and Sunwest Aviation. Customized Corporate Gifts can be created for each sponsor of an event such as this to thank them for their support.
According to the organization, 95% of the proceeds it receives through its fundraising efforts are used to help those in need.
The luncheon will be held on September 12 from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm at the Hyatt Regency Calgary, which is located at 700 Centre Street East. Tickets for the meal are $100 each, and tables can be purchased for $1,000.
