Those who participate in a Calgary workshop next month will be able to wow their guests when they offer them a specialty cocktail prepared all on their own.
Oakridge Coop Wine, Spirits and Beer is offering a two-hour workshop that will transform members of the public into skilled mixologists. They will learn how to craft a variety of popular holiday drinks, as well as some that they may never have even heard of, and they can then use these recipes at their next soiree.
The instructor of the interactive class will demonstrate a variety of cocktail-making techniques that are likely to be fun to watch. The ingredients used are readily available, and the attendees can also ask the facilitator whatever questions they may have, and gather drink making tips at the same time.
When the workshop is over and the time comes to head for home, each of the attendees will have new repertoire of cocktail recipes they can call on. The venue for the Holiday Cocktail workshop is located at 2570 Southland Drive in Calgary. It is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm on December 5.
