Calgary welcomes return of Gardeners Market
The climate conditions found in Calgary may present some real challenges to its home horticulturalists, and a local pop up style market and learning day will help them to keep their flower, vegetable and other gardens full and looking great.
The Calgary Horticultural Society has invited one and all to stop by its Gardener’s Market in late April, and it promises to have lots on offer. A container design competition will be part of the fun, and the function's presenting sponsor is Greengate Grade Centres LTD.
The attendees at the celebration will be able to purchase plants as well as an assortment of gear and landscaping hardware. The speaker/demo stage will be running presentations throughout the day, and these are covered by the ticket price. Anyone with an interest in cookery may register for the demonstration classes planned for the Blue Flame Kitchen, and additional information about the day will be released as its date draws closer. It will be on from 10:00 am until 4:30 pm.
