At the start of the 20th century, a particular Calgary venue served as the social heart of the community, and it will be reprising the role by hosting a special occasion.
The Wainwright Hotel is welcoming the public for its Winter Prairie Breakfast series. The meal will be served to the diners buffet style, and it will be on offer until the end of April.
The menu that will be prepared by the venue’s chefs will be filled with options for kids and adults alike to enjoy. There will be dishes crafted to appeal to vegetarians and those who need to avoid gluten, as well as desserts, coffee, tea and juices. Reservations are not required, but anyone who would like to secure a spot for a specific time can call the organizers. Admissions starts at $24.50 for adults and $14.95 for kids.
Serving a buffet-style meal can be an economical choice, and it also creates a casual atmosphere. Signage, cards for reserved tables and other items for such a function will be available at Print shops, which will be able to custom design them for the occasion.
The Wainwright Hotel, which is situated at 1900 Heritage Drive SW, will be offering its winter buffet breakfasts on Sundays until April 30th. It will not be hosted on Easter Sunday, however.
