An afternoon of tea and gardening has been planned for Calgary, and it will kick off the spring horticultural season at a local garden centre.
The team at Greengate Garden Centre will be hosting an afternoon tea and learning session, and the guest presenter for the occasion will be Kath Smyth, a horticulturalist with the Calgary Horticulture Society.
The hour-long Come for Tea at the Garden Centre session will offer conversations about gardening as Smyth shares her expertise. Tea and light snacks will be served, though attendees are asked to bring their own reusable mug or cup. Everyone can ask any questions they have and share their own best practices and tips. and the final date to sign up is April 16th. All may attend – Society members get free entry and will be able to access their Bring a Friend benefit, while tickets for non-members are $10.00 each.
Clubs, societies and other organizations give those who share a common interest a chance to come together to learn and enjoy one another’s company. A flyer printing company will be pleased to help spread the word to a community about an upcoming activity like this.
