Calgary foodies have been issued an invitation to loosen their belts and head to an event that will offer something for every taste.
This year marks the city’s Food Truck Pilot Project’s seventh anniversary, and to celebrate the occasion, YYC Food Trucks has organized Taste the Trucks 7. This three day long event will see at least 20 mobile food service vendors joining together in East Village’s Riverswalk Plaza. They will be serving up a huge assortment of taste treats and that’s not all the excitement that’s on the agenda for the occasion.
Those who come to the event will also be able to enjoy live music supplied courtesy of 10 at 10 and ice-cold beer from Village Brewery will be on tap. There will also be giveaways plus a whole lot more. It’s open to all ages, and those under 14 will be admitted for free. The ticket admission price for everyone else will be $5.00, which covers all three days of the event. A local printer will be able to supply the businesses that take part in a function like this with an assortment of Promotional Products, including customized pop up Banners.
This culinary celebration has been planned for August 18th, 19th and 20th, and it will run each day from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm.
