The Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary provides care to kids and families, and an event planned with wine lovers in mind will raise money for this medical facility.
The hospital's Foundation works all year long to raise funds for the medical facility, and one of the events on its agenda is a Charity Wine auction. This is being hosted with support from Willow Park Wines and Spirits, and this year's theme is “Alice in Wonderland”.
The guests at the soiree will be able to enjoy a selection of wines and dishes prepared by area chefs while they meet and mingle. Live entertainment is in the works, and local wine makers and chefs will be on hand to meet the crowd, answer questions and share their stories. Both live and silent auctions will take place, and the items that will be up for bids range from special experiences to premium wines and other libations.
A fundraiser where wine, craft beers or other beverages will be poured and tasted may call for special custom Drinkware. A company that crafts Corporate Gifts will have a range of styles to choose from, and they can be printed with almost any design.
This evening of music, wine, food and good company will begin at 7:00 pm on October 14th. Willow Park Wines & Spirits will be the venue for the evening.
