An upcoming fundraiser will give people in Calgary an opportunity to enjoy an elegant evening out and learn more about how the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter helps women, men and families who are experiencing, or recovering from, domestic abuse.
The Turning Points Fundraising Gala, which is the group’s signature fundraising event, will celebrate the courage of those who have taken a stand to leave abusive situations. The ticket price includes a dinner, and there will be both live and silent auctions, prize giveaways, and a sharing of stories from those who wish to inspire others.
