Calgary run set to bring spooky fun to city

Halloween costumes are often reserved for youngsters, but a Calgary race will give adults a chance to get in on the fun too, all while helping local animals in need.

This year, the Dash of Doom will be held in the afternoon, and the whole family, including its four legged members, are welcome. There will be plenty of perks on offer for participants, and anyone who wishes to get involved can choose to run, walk or roll along in their wheelchair or other assistive device.

The plans for the occasion include a 1km kids run as well as a 10km run and 5km fun run and walk. When participants reach the finish line, there will be candy and other treats and the carnival-like atmosphere will offer entertainment. Everyone is encouraged to wear a costume, as there will be prizes awarded in an assortment of categories.

This type of function can bring a community together to support a cause. Corporate Gifts such as T-Shirts can be prepared to give to each person who takes part to thank them for their support.

The 2020 Dash of Doom has been scheduled for October 31st. It will be held in the afternoon, and the staging area will be located at the Eau Claire Market Festival Plaza.
