Quilting is a practice that combines artistic form and function, and those who enjoy the pastime may want to take advantage of an upcoming workshop.
Meadow Rose Quilts in Calgary will be the location for an event that will offer an introduction to Star 180 Design tools. The attendees at the function will be able to take in a demonstration that will show how the Star 60 tool in particular can be used for a variety of projects, and there will be sewing time on the agenda for the attendees too.
The event is being hosted by the Airdrie and District Quilt Guild, and both members and non-members are welcome to attend. Admissions is $10.00 for those who are part of the organization and $20.00 for those who are not. Technique sheets will be distributed, and supplies are not required.
A workshop may provide everything from an introduction to a deep dive into a particular topic. Educational materials for such an activity can be prepared by Stationery printers, and they may also be able to provide an assortment of other customized learning items.
The Star 60 Block Exploration Quilt Bee session will take place on January 16th. Two time slots are available, starting at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm, and those who are interested can choose the session that best suits their schedule.
