Calgary is home to some very talented artists and other makers, and this diverse group will be on full display during an upcoming pop-up market.
The Bridgeland-Riverside Community Association supports the neighbourhood in a variety of ways, and one of these is by hosting its annual Fall Art Show and Sale. This weekend market will be open on October 15th and 16th, and the shoppers may even be able to get all of their shopping done well ahead of the upcoming holiday season.
The makers that will be participating will have works ranging from painting and other art to glass, jewellery, ceramics, photography and textiles. GST will not be charged on any purchases made, and a raffle draw and free parking are some of the perks that will be offered to the attendees. There is no fee to enter the activity.
Many neighbourhoods and communities opt to host pop-up fall markets, and they often provide a welcome economic boost to local small businesses. Print shops will have lots of ways to market such an activity.
The Bridgeland-Riverside Community Association’s 2022 edition of the annual Fall Art Show and Sale is scheduled to kick off the holiday gift-buying season on Saturday, October 15th and Sunday, October 16th. The venue for the occasion will be located at 917 Centre Avenue Northwest.
