As another school year wraps up, Calgary pre-teens will be hitting the dance floor for an evening of fun and friendship.
North Haven has scheduled a dance party for kids in grades four to six, and both North Haven community members and non-members alike may participate. Admission starts at $5.00, and tickets will be on sale starting on June 1st.
The guests at the Pre-Teen Dance celebration will be able to show off some of their dance moves, and the concession will be open for anyone who wants to purchase a snack. Parent volunteers will be serving as chaperones, and anyone who would like to do so can sign up for this ahead of time.
The planners of the gathering have explained that the local Girl Guides will be setting up a collection station for items they are gathering to donate to soldiers in Ukraine. A list of products that are needed has been prepared, and it includes toiletries, pre-packaged cookies and sunscreen.
