Pop-up style artisan markets are a common summer sight in Calgary, but the city is about to play host to one that will offer a special medieval twist.
The organizers of the 4th annual Calgary Medieval Faire & Artisan Market recently announced that they have been given the green light for the function to go ahead this August, and it is set to offer fun for every age. The whole function will offer a high-energy atmosphere, and it will provide a setting for crafters and artisans from the city to meet with the public.
As the celebration will have a medieval theme, the public can count on seeing lots of people in period costume, and they are welcome to wear one themselves. There will be strolling entertainers as well as interactive displays, and everyone can get some fun photos at the pillory.
The function is being produced by Legend Works Events, and applications are being accepted from vendors, entertainers and others who would like to get involved. Graphic Design Services can prepare a wide variety of themed decor for a gathering such as this one.
The 2022 Calgary Medieval Faire & Artisan Market will be welcoming one and all from August 26th to August 28th. The Wild West Events Centre will be serving as the location for the three-day celebration.
