Canada’s largest beer festival is set to welcome suds lovers, and with hundreds of beers, ales, stouts and other drinks on offer, its organizers anticipate that it will be a popular event.
The celebration, which has been dubbed “Calgary International Beerfest”, will showcase brewers from all across the country and even further afield. Anyone who purchased tokens or tickets for the 2020 instalment of the function will be able to redeem them, and they can also be transferred to someone else should the holder wish to do so.
The schedule for the two-day festival is filled with both tasting and learning opportunities. Seminars that cover topics ranging from cooking with beer to tips from brewmasters are all on the agenda, and sampling and tastings will be the order of the day. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local charitable causes, and judging for the Canadian International Beer Awards will be taking place as well.
