Calgary festival to have Francophone flair

Canada is proud of its French heritage, and a Calgary festival will celebrate Francophone culture and traditions this summer.

The Calgary Franco Festival will be a family-friendly gathering, and will offer a high-energy introduction to French music and food, and this is just the beginning of what the organizers have in the works for the occasion.

Those who attend the festivities will be able to enjoy a musical and dance performance, and if they pay a visit to the festival’s cultural village, they will be treated to a wide selection of handmade crafts and other works. Bistro-style food and a selection of fare will be on offer for everyone to wants a bite to eat, and a tasting corner and children’s village will round out the occasion. All ages are welcome.

When planning this sort of gathering, the organizers often find they need to keep to a strict budget. Print shops will be able to help, and can provide many ways to make a marketing dollar stretch to its fullest by providing printed advertising, Posters and Promotional Products for the day.

This celebration of Francophone culture from all over the globe will be held in Calgary’s Olympic Plaza, and is being brought to the city thanks to the efforts of Portail de l’Immigrant Association. It will be held on August 15.
