Calgary expo to delight local rockhounds

An event that will see rockhounds revel in a huge selection of gems, minerals and other related items is on the agenda for Calgary.

The Calgary Rock and Gem Show will be filled with plenty to catch the attention of those who enjoy studying, collecting or crafting with minerals. There will be items on offer from all over the world, and Silver Cove, which is the organizer of the activity, has explained that it will be one of the largest functions of its kind to take place in Canada this year.

The pop-up-style market will welcome all ages, and both general and family ticket options have been made available. Children aged five and under may enter at no cost, and everyone can meet the vendors, browse through what is on offer and learn more about the world of geology.

Along with the mineral specimens, the show will feature fossils, as well as beads, and other jewellery making supplies. A selection of the materials being sold will be sourced from Canada. Offering attendees at a large function like this with a map of the venue can make it easier for them to find what they are looking for, and these can be prepared by area brochure printing companies.

The Calgary Rock and Gem Show will be on offer at WinSport from October 6th until October 9th. A portion of the proceeds from admission will be donated to charity.
