Calgary event to kick off festival season

Calgary’s summer festivals attract visitors from all over, and the season will be kicking off with an event that can help kiss the winter blues goodbye.

The annual Lilac Festival transforms 4th Street Southwest into a giant block party, with activities and fun for everyone. Thousands of people attend this celebration every year, and it will give the area’s community of musicians and artists a chance to shine.

During the festival, there will be live musical performances, and while the crowd enjoys the entertainment, they can browse through the vendor booths, discover some local eateries or just do some people watching. There will be bouncy castles and other offerings just for kids, and admission to the festivities is free. The day, which will take place rain or shine, will open with a parade, and it’s an activity that offers excitement for the whole family.

When planning a large annual event, it can be a good idea for the organizers to have a Logo Design prepared ahead of time. This can be added to any of the marketing materials used to promote the event, and can play an important part in building the brand, both locally and further afield.

This late spring community celebration will be welcoming the public on June 7th. A full description of the day can be found on the To Do Canada website.
