Annual parade to light up the city

The 5th annual Auburn Bay Parade of Lights is taking place on the first weekend of next month, hosted by the Auburn Bay Community Residents Association.

The holiday parade will take a 5K loop around Auburn Bay, and is set to feature approximately 20 floats decorated with lights, hosted by local businesses and organizations. Santa Claus will also be taking part in the parade. The public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite float, and the winner will be named the fan favorite.

LED necklaces and wands will be available for purchase for $2 and $5 respectively. Proceeds will be donated to Foothills Soccer. There will also be several hot chocolate stations set up along the parade route.

After the parade, there will be an after party at Auburn House. Admission is restricted to Auburn Bay residents and their guests, and is free of charge. There will be musical entertainment, a toboggan hill, and ice skating.

Calgary flyer printing firms are often asked to provide advertising that can be easily and cheaply distributed in the community.

The Auburn Bay Parade of Lights will be held at the Auburn Bay Community Centre on December 1 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. To learn more about the parade and the after party, contact the Auburn Bay Community Residents Association at 403-390-2554.
