Skate session planned for Airdries Family Day
The Family Day holiday gives Alberta parents and kids an excuse to enjoy a day of fun together, and an Airdrie venue has plans in the works for a special experience on the ice.
Plainsmen Arena will be welcoming families for its Funky Family Day Skate session, and to make the activity even more fun, there will be “extras” that are not usually on offer. During the session, there will be retro music, and everyone can enjoy the laser light show and haze.
Tickets for the fun are $5.00 per person, and the time slots are 90 minutes long each. The organizers have pointed out that as there will be flashing lights and smoke, the function may not be suitable for those with sensitivities.
