Airdrie club organizes Mother's Day market

Airdrie is a small community with a big heart, and its generous spirit will be on full display during a fundraiser that will take place just in time for Mother's Day.

The parking lot at St. Paul's Catholic Church will soon be transformed into the Airdrie 1st Mother's Day Plant Sale. It will support an assortment of community service projects, and everyone is invited to stop by.

Those who attend will be able to purchase flowers and veggies for their garden, prepared by the club’s “ladies in the Red Vests”. Both annual and perennial flowers will be available, and those on the hunt for teacher and Mother’s Day gifts may want to spend some time browsing through the tables of handmade goods. The monies raised will support projects such as a community hamper program and the purchase of a memorial bench.

Airdrie 1st has been running for nearly 50 years, and a pop-up sale can be a fun way for a not-for-profit group to both fund projects and immerse itself within its local community. A banner printing company can supply reusable booth décor for events like this.

The members of the Airdrie 1st Club will be providing lots of options when it comes to both gifts and plants when it hosts its Mother’s Day celebration sale on Saturday, May 9th. It will begin at 10:00 am.
