An Airdrie event had to be rescheduled, but that means even more attendees may have time to join in the fun.
The annual Shamrock Shimmy fundraiser will serve as Airdrie Food Bank’s signature spring fundraiser, and it will play a vital role in supporting its work. It will make it fun and easy for the ticket holders to show some love to neighbours in need, and it will be a gala celebration.
The guests will be treated to a menu of dinners and drinks, and everyone can try their luck in the raffle draws for Corporate Gifts and other prizes. Auctions are also in the works, and Claire Spencer will be the host for the occasion. Smitty’s Catering will supply the food, and DJ Dan will provide the entertainment. The live auction will add even more excitement, and 100 percent of the proceeds will be passed along to the food bank.
To help ensure the food bank continues to serve the community, the organizers have put out a call to local businesses that would like to make a contribution of items or experiences. Stationery printers can prepare special certificates of thanks to present to the supporters of an event
