Whether they are a seasoned green thumb or have never picked up a rake or trowel, the planners of an upcoming Airdrie event have invited one and all to get their hands dirty.
The Airdrie Urban Farm Collective has cordially invited the public to be part of its Plant Day, which will be the very first fundraiser of its kind the organization has hosted. Nose Creek Park will be the venue for the celebration.
At the event, plant lovers will be able to gather tips and advice they can put to use in their own outdoor or indoor gardens, and they can meet their fellow Calgarians who also love plants. There will be plants on hand to pot up and take home, and everyone is reminded to bring along containers to do so.
