An Airdrie haircutter who is fighting a tough battle will benefit from a local fundraiser featuring the services of professional stylists.
HairBenders Salon has planned a haircut by donation drive for later this month, and it will be running all day on its scheduled date. It will show love and support to its stylist Emily, and the organizers are hoping for a great turnout.
To get involved, the public can contact the salon to book their appointment, and they may also want to bid on the items and experiences that will be on the block in the silent auction. The proceeds will be passed along to Emily, who is a local woman battling Stage 4 uterine leiomyosarcoma, to help her meet her medical expenses. The minimum donation is $25.00, and those interested are asked to be as generous as they can. A raffle draw and refreshments will round out the day.
To help raise as much as possible, the planners of the fundraiser are seeking the donation of items like Corporate Gifts to include in raffle baskets or offer as silent auction items. All assistance will be appreciated.
HairBenders Salon in Airdrie has scheduled its “Haircut-a-Thon” for June 28, and it will run from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Anyone who would like to reserve a spot or make a contribution can contact the organizer online.Get a Free Quote for Corporate Gifts
