Airdrie is set to bid a fond farewell to 2025 and give 2026 a warm welcome when it lights up the night with a special New Year’s Eve display.
The community's Ed Eggerer Athletic Field will be hosting a huge fireworks show that will provide an opportunity for all members of the family to join the fun. This activity has become a popular local tradition, and tends to draw thousands of spectators.
The show is scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm, and so long as the weather cooperates, members of the public can find seating on the bleachers. They may bring blankets and warm drinks such as hot chocolate if they wish. Last year, over 4,000 people came to the event, so those interested may want to plan ahead so they do not miss out. A free shuttle service will be available, and everyone is encouraged to utilize a ride sharing service, cab or their own feet to get to the venue.
A community celebration that takes place outside often requires decor that can withstand exposure to the elements. A banner printing company will have a range of options available.
